HUGS- “Hamari Udaan- Gratitude to Saviours”

A campaign to boost morale of our Frontline Warriors in these trying times.

As part of this initiative, the Hamari Udaan (HU) team contacted patients who wished to thank caregivers and their teams for helping them recover from COVID. Once the testimonials (videos, audios and thank you cards/notes) were received, the HU team ensured that these were passed on directly to the respective caregivers.

On 29th May, 2021, HU organized a Facebook Live Stream event to share the essence of this initiative with the public at large. We had several patients and their relatives in attendance, who spoke about their experience while undergoing treatment. Some doctors and a nurse also shared their challenges while treating COVID affected patients.

A slide show describing the various activities of HU and the HUGS initiative was presented. Video presentations, a poem recitation and song performances by some of the patients and caregivers were the highlight of the event!

The event was interactive and engaging and received a positive response from viewers in the form of numerous likes, comments and shares.
